20/11/07 Enjoyed participating. Particulary Flickr, Youtube, and the Podcasting. I am much more confident now, but no where near competent. I couldn't have done it without Colin's help. Thanks Colin.
I understand the benefit of keeping a Blog while undertaking the activities, but I don't think I'll continue. There is too much drivel out there, I don't need to contribute any more.
The programme is a great idea, keep at it.

#7 Blog about technology
What I'm most impressed about with all this new technology, is that everybody is able to have a say. People can make a contribution to what's happening in the world. Technology allowed images and stories to be sent out of Burma that we wouldn't normally see. This must help with a return to democracy in Burma.
The Media Report on Radio National this morning (8/11/07) presented a panel discussing blogging as opposed to talk back radio. It was great, although the panel was made up of print journalists, biased towards blogging. No one contributing was prepared to say what would happen in the future. I think that great, who knows what will happen, but at least we will be part of it because we can now BLOG.

Online Applications & Tools
2/11/2007
The resources that are out there, truely amazing! Explored SEOmoz's Web 2.0 Awards, what impressed me the most, ummmmm, Google Maps and Flickr. Maybe that's because I familiar with them, but in time, who knows.

Wikis
18/10/07
This I like....apparently WGRLS is soon to launch a wiki. We'll be able to talk books, as well as other things, great.
No more emails back and forth. Can't wait.

Tagging, Folksonomies & Technorati
Found the videos useful this week.
Didn't create a Del.icio.us account, but can now see how valuable it could be. The same could be said for Technorati when searching blogs.
Did enjoy reading about the future of libraries and the relervance of Web 2.0, and Library 2.0. EXCITING.
